Absaroka Capital is Montana’s first student-run, evergreen venture fund, based at Montana State University in Bozeman. The name “Absaroka” is rooted in the 1930s movement to create a “State of Absaroka,” when rural communities in Montana and Wyoming sought greater recognition and representation. Inspired by that spirit, Absaroka Capital is committed to empowering overlooked founders and underserved regions by investing beyond traditional coastal venture capital hubs.
